Why this Site is ...

I'm Md. Zakaria Hossain while 'Babu' is called as my nick name. I really come from a Muslim family. I'm the 2nd child of my Parents. After completing my Honours and Masters in the subject of English, I try to get admission in MBA in a reputed University.... However, I also have completed my “Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering” and “Higher Diploma in Computer Hardware” from the institution of National Youth Development And Self-employment Academy (NYDASA) in 2003 and 2005 respectively. I have also completed an IELTS course from British Council. Now I am professionally engaged in the institution of Cosmopolitan Laboratory School & College as a Lecturer in English. Though teaching profession is considered as a very general job from the point of view of our country, it is a respectable job in the respect that a teacher is the doctor of a man’s mind. None but a TEACHER can awake the talent from his mind. That’s why; I chose it from the core of my heart. যেহেতু আমি একজন বাংলাদেশী এবং বাংলা-ই আমার মাতৃভাষা যা অর্জিত হয়েছে লক্ষ প্রাণের বিনিময়ে, তাই আমি আমার বেশ কিছু কথা বাংলা-তেই বলার বা লিখার চেষ্টা করব। কারন, সম্পুর্ণ মনের ভাব প্রকাশ করার জন্য মাতৃভাষা ছাড়া বোধ করি পৃথিবীতে আর দ্বিতীয়টি নেই। তাছাড়া বাংলা-কে পৃথিবীর দ্বারে দ্বারে পৌঁছে দেয়ার যে সুযোগ প্রযুক্তির চরম উৎকর্ষতায় পাওয়া গেছে তার যথাযথ সদ্ব্যবহার করাটাও নিতান্ত প্রয়োজন বলে মনে করি, যদিও ‘ইন্টারনেটে বাংলা’-র যথাযথ প্রয়োগ এখনও হচ্ছে না। তার কারন সম্ভবতঃ সকলের ‘ইউনিকোড’ সম্পর্কে ধারণার অভাব। এই ‘ইউনিকোড’-এর বদৌলতেই আজ বাংলাকে একটি স্বতন্ত্র চরিত্র রুপে পাচ্ছি। এইজন্য ‘ইউনিকোড’ পরিবারকে জানাই ধন্যবাদ। যাই হোক, আমার এই সাইট-এ ‘ইউনিকোড’ সম্পর্কে পরবর্তীতে বিস্তারিত আলোচনার প্রয়াস রাখছি।
